You are invited to an opening reception for the holiday exhibition, SPARKLE, featuring Kate's Zipper Jewelry along with jewelry from twelve other distinguished jewelry artists presented by Taboo Studio in San Diego, California. These are the latest Zipper Jewelry designs from Kate Cusack--all available through Taboo Studio.

Taboo Studio is one of the leading art jewelry galleries in the country. It was established 27 years ago and it is co-owned by Joanna Rhoades and Jane Groover.

Kate will speak about her Zipper Jewelry on Sunday, April 26th at 1pm during a panel discussion entitled "Jewelry-Now" as part of the the Smithsonian Craft Show lecture series. The discussion will feature jewelry artists who work with non-traditional materials. It will be moderated by Jim Rosenheim, Chiarman of the Tiny Jewel Box, a prominent Washington, D.C. jewelry institution.

Held at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Taking Shape looks at the development of form across multiple artistic practices, including woodworking, photography, jewelry, etching, and ceramics. Kate is one of eight artists selected for the exhibit who seriously consider form, shape and functionality in their artwork.
